Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Quality Inspector – Receipt InspectionLocation: Barrow-in-Furness (Fulltime onsite)Salary: £37,091 + shift allowanceWhat you’ll be doing:Performing quality inspections in accordance with BAE Systems specifications and overseeing the auditing and documentation of procured parts received by the businessYou’ll understand the quality requirements, schedules, and priorities, and ensure the delivery of an inspection service aligned with these expectationsEnsuring that high quality records are produced as an output of the production processes and inspectionsManage the quality inspections of externally manufactured products, quality inspection requirements and document release of procured partsRaising defect notifications against non-conformances for incoming productsYour skills and experience:Essential:Mechanical, Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing backgroundProficient with SAPDesirable:Previous QC Inspection experienceUnderstanding of Quality Inspection techniquesHNC level qualification or relevant experience in Trade backgroundBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing, and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Quality Receipt Inspection team:You will gain good visibility and a broad perspective across all the products that go into building a Submarine.
