You'll empower your team to deliver exceptional value, deepen customer trust, and drive retention and expansion through partnership and collaboration. This is an opportunity to shape how Customer Success operates at scale — balancing strategic thinking with empathy, accountability, and our shared commitment to customer value.What You Will DoLead and coach a regional team of Customer Success Managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership, and measurable impact.Drive customer retention and growth by ensuring teams execute structured success planning, value realization, and proactive risk management.Partner with Sales, Product, and Technical Account Management to create seamless, value-driven customer journeys.Translate business insights into coaching opportunities and operational improvements across the CS organization.Champion Camunda's values by modeling collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.What You Will Bring To The Role2+ years of experience in team leadership or people management6+ years in Customer Success or Strategic Account ManagementMust HavesHigh operational rigor and attention to data quality, processes, and systemsExperience driving 120+ NRR at a programmatic levelFamiliarity with success planning, value realization, and maturity assessment frameworksStrong coaching and mentorship skills — with the ability to upskill CSMs at various experience levelsExecutive presence and experience influencing cross-functional leadersExperience using Gainsight, Salesforce, and other CS/CRM toolingYou speak German and English business fluentNice To HavesDomain expertise in automation, orchestration, digital transformation, or adjacent fieldsExpertise in our top verticalsC1CompensationWhat We Have to Offer:We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
