Although the firm has a global footprint, the social housing finance practice is very much rooted in local and regional work, supporting key housing associations, lenders, and institutions across the North.The RoleYou will work on a strong pipeline of social housing finance matters, including:\tSecured and unsecured lending transactions\tFunding arrangements for social housing and development projects\tDrafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and related finance documentation\tClose collaboration with the wider banking, real estate and regeneration teams\tRegular contact with long-standing local clients and regional decision-makersAbout YouThe team would welcome applications from:\tNQ+ solicitors Lawyers with experience in banking, social housing finance, or real estate finance\tStrong drafting and organisational skills\tA genuine interest in finance work with a social purpose\tA collaborative and commercially minded approachWhy This Role?\tInternational firm with excellent resources and training\tA down-to-earth local finance team with strong regional client relationships\tExposure to high quality work without losing the local focus\tHybrid working and flexibility\tOption to be based in Leeds or ManchesterThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the structure and support of a big international firm, but prefers working closely with local clients and regional housing associations where the impact is immediate and meaningful.Any references to PQE are provided as a guide and should not deter candidates with more or fewer years’ experience from applying.
