Job DescriptionDriver Trainer (LGV/HGV)Location: High WycombeSalary: £42,000 per annumContract: PermanentAbout the RoleWere looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to support safe, efficient depot operations by ensuring all drivers are trained, competent, and compliant. Youll deliver inductions, refresher training, and driver assessments while promoting best practice and continuous improvement across the fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive 5-day driver inductions and ongoing refresher trainingConduct driver assessments and post-incident retrainingMaintain accurate training and competence recordsMonitor driver performance and support behavioural improvementsCommunicate updates on vehicle changes and new proceduresWork closely with management to ensure operational compliance and safety standards are metWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 3 years HGV driving experience (multiple vehicle modes preferred)Proven experience delivering driver assessments or trainingValid Class 2 HGV Licence, Digital Tachograph, and up-to-date CPCGood understanding of HGV mechanics, vehicle checks, and legislation (WTD)Strong communication and coaching skillsFlexibility to work early mornings, late finishes, nights, or weekends as requiredJBRP1_UKTJ
