Through engaging programmes, young people gain the knowledge, motivation and skills to make a real difference.ResponsibilitiesThe Finance Manager reports into the Chief Executive and is a key role in ensuring organisational resilience, and supporting strong governance and data driven decisions for this impactful organisation. Your competence with managing day to day financial management operations, and year end are a given. You will also be a supportive and consultative manager to the Finance Assistant reporting into this role. What sets the successful candidate apart, is the ability to work closely and effectively with other areas of the organisation. You will work closely with the Fundraising team, and with the Education Programmes teams. You will also feel comfortable to present to non‐finance related stakeholders such as the Executive team and Board of Trustees, enabling your colleagues to feel fully informed, and being able to answer questions as needed.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent and will have substantial experience as a senior financial lead within a small organisation. Your relational capability will also be key, and as such you will be able to demonstrate your strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work and travel on occasional evenings.
