Job DescriptionConveyancing Solicitor Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Conveyancer ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading property firm and head up a dynamic conveyancing team at its South Birmingham office.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage and inspire a team of conveyancing professionals to meet departmental and organisational objectivesOversee the end-to-end lifecycle of residential property transactions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and full complianceImplement and maintain best practices in conveyancing, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations and industry standardsMonitor performance metrics and champion continuous improvement across the departmentManage risk and client funds in accordance with professional standardsOversee budgets, staffing and resource allocation for the conveyancing functionDrive business development and client relationship initiatives within residential conveyancing servicesCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless, high-quality client service deliveryProduce detailed reports for senior management on departmental performance, risks and growth opportunitiesHandle a personal caseload of freehold, leasehold and shared ownership property transactionsMaintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents and lendersSupport and mentor assistants and paralegals, fostering professional development within the teamEnsure cases are processed efficiently and in line with financial targets and service standardsAbout You:A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in residential propertyProven ability to manage and motivate a legal teamExcellent communication, leadership and organisational skillsStrong understanding of conveyancing law, compliance requirements and market trendsClient-focused approach with a commitment to service excellenceConfident in handling client enquiries face-to-face, by phone and onlineWhat’s In It For You?25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysOption to buy or sell up to 3 days of annual leaveAdditional paid time off during the Christmas shutdown periodProfessional subscriptions paidAttractive incentive and referral schemesYour birthday off, plus a birthday gift voucherPaycare Health Cash Plan and discounted legal feesMonthly dress down and treat dayAnnual company-wide Christmas celebration and localised office eventsApply:To hear more about this head of conveyancing position, please contact Rebecca Healey at G2 Legal or apply online. #INDCATN
