Contracts Associate

In this role you will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating basic agreements with third parties and assisting with contract management.Your responsibilities in this role would be:Liaise with Legal Team members relating to the preparation and dispatch of agreements with third parties. Draft, review and negotiate agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures and business requirements. Assist the Legal Team with the management of processes and procedures relating to agreement requests, drafting, negotiation and finalisation. Support in creating training materials and processes for internal clients and other members of the Legal Team. With the assistance of Legal Team, undertake review of proposed terms and conditions and develop strategies and recommendations to minimize potential risks to the business. Keep track of status of unsigned agreements and follow up where necessary. Handover of agreement to internal contract requesters to explain obligations, risks and timing of notice provisions. Contribute at regular Legal Team meetings and triage of Contracts inbox and Legal Team inbox requests for legal and contractual support. Filing of electronic correspondence and agreements on legal databases. Assist Legal Team in keeping OXB agreement templates and policies up to date.We are looking for:A scientific, legal or other degree and experience working in a legal support role Demonstrable experience of generation, review, negotiation and management of basic agreements with other parties including confidential disclosure, consultancy and service agreements. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Adobe, with demonstrable database knowledge and understanding Experience of working with internal and external customers Some appreciation in the use of AI within the workplace.
