Job DescriptionThe OpportunityThis is a great opportunity to join an award winning Audio Visual integrator as project manager, joining their technical team to assist with the delivery of high- quality installation projects across the South West.Working on customer sites across of the UK (national work and overseas travel may be required from time to time) but predominantly on the South coast, this role plays a vital part in the ongoing delivery of high-quality integrated AV solutions to universities, museums, hotels, public sector and corporate clients.As part of the project team, you will report directly to the Systems Integration Manager and work closely with colleagues from the installation, programming and sales teamsKey responsibilities:Attendance at client meetings and undertaking of technical site surveys to assist in the definition of project scope and objectives from which system designs will be derivedEvaluation of sales orders/BOM prior to ordering and project commencementThe generation of project documentation including, AV Layout Drawings, System Schematics, Rack Layouts and any other drawings as required in AutoCad/Visio/StardrawAssisting with final commissioning and debugging/fault finding in conjunction with the project team Assisting with system handovers to clientsCompilation, approval and submission of OM documentation to main contractors/clients Provision of technical guidance and support to the Sales Team and EngineersLead the planning and implementation of projectsIdentify resources required, select appropriate personnel, assign responsibilities, monitor and report on the progress of the projectThe coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and scopeSalary is competitive and negotiable circa £45k-£50k p.a. neg, doe plus excellent benefits package & co.vehicleYour skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:3 years experience working within a similar position in the Industry with an AV background.Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Have a keen attention to detailExcellent organisational skillsHave the ability/initiative to work on your ownBe confident and professional when dealing with clients.Have AVIXA CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I accreditationHold qualifications in project management (Prince 2, PMP etc.)Be conversant with software tools including.
