With a growing pipeline of high-profile projects, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced planning professional looking to make a meaningful impact on major UK developments.You'll be joining a highly respected planning team operating at the forefront of sustainable development, working across sectors including energy, transport, utilities, ports and harbours, and buildings. This is a chance to shape the future of infrastructure and deliver real-world solutions to today's most pressing environmental and societal challenges.Key Responsibilities:Act as Planning Lead or Support Lead across a range of strategic projectsManage and deliver multi-disciplinary projects, providing expert consultancy services to a diverse client baseLead on bid preparation and framework responsesMentor junior planners and contribute to the overall growth and capability of the teamCollaborate with experts across planning, environmental, engineering, and design disciplinesEngage with key clients to support business development and market opportunitiesRequirements:Degree in Town Planning or a relevant subjectChartered or working towards chartered statusStrong understanding of the UK planning system, including TCPA, DCO or TWAO processesStrategic planning and policy experienceKnowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process (desirable)Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver well-presented reports and presentationsStrong time management skills, able to handle multiple projects to tight deadlinesConfidence to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teamsWhat's on Offer:A competitive salary package regularly benchmarked against the market25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell additional leaveA flexible benefits scheme tailored to support work/life balance, including medical insurance, gym membership, cycle-to-work scheme, and moreExtensive support for chartership and ongoing professional developmentA supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking working environmentWhile preference is given to candidates based in or near Glasgow, applications from individuals across the UK are welcomed.
