Job DescriptionQuantity Surveyor required to join an established business on what will likely be a 15 month project based in Frinton-on-sea. Overall package will pay around £90,000 per annum.Duties:On site in Frinton-on-sea, with occasional travel to NottinghamshireProduce schedule of worksFormulate Subcontract TendersSee through Chairing Pre-let meetings and finalising subcontract ordersManage subcontractorsAnalyse Bills of Quantities, drawings, and contract documentsManage collateral warrantiesProduce cashflows, both internal and externalHave input to the design team meetingsBenefits:£25,000 per annum£1900 performance related yearly bonus25 days holiday (3-5 days to be held back for Christmas shutdown)PensionExperience required:10 years experience working with a main contractor as a Quantity SurveyorAble to analyse and understand Bills of Quantities, drawings, and contract documentsA surveyor that manages is required, not a reporting surveyorValue of previous projects; £2 million to £10 millionAbility to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasksPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
