Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWere looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Chichester In this hands-on role, youll perform both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production equipment, including extruders, haul-off units, cooling systems, saws, pneumatic/hydraulic systems and automated machinery. Youll play a key part in keeping the factory running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively.This is a Full-Time, Permanent positionWhat youll be doingCarry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on extrusion lines and related production equipmentDiagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsSupport machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning projectsEnsure all equipment operates safely and downtime is minimisedMaintain accurate service records and report maintenance activitiesWork collaboratively within a small engineering team to deliver efficient plant supportContribute to continuous improvement and process reliability initiativesHoursMonday-Friday, 11:30am - 20:00pm (day shifts during initial training period)PayApprox £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)Skills/Experience RequiredMinimum 12 months maintenance experience within a production, manufacturing or industrial environmentElectrical or mechanical qualifications preferredGood understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practicesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBenefits 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Company pensionFree on-site parkingOvertime availableTraining and career development opportunitiesEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be commutable to Chichester.What to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touchModus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.JBRP1_UKTJ
