A FTSE Consumer business who has a great track record of career development are currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Manager, who will be part of a very high performing team.Responsibilities of the successful Group Reporting Manager:Responsible for managing the consolidation process for the group to ensure key information is provided to our internal and external stakeholders in accordance with agreed timetables.Prepare timetables and instructions to the Group to ensure reporting deadlines are met.Involved in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems.Reviewing Business Unit performance each accounting period, including continually building and improving the process by which Business Units present and explain periodic results.Delivering ad hoc projects to support continuous improvement of the Group's external reporting, including liaising with the Group M&A team on significant non-routine transactions.Leading the audit process for the groupWork with the Head of group external reporting to develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures and on group technical accounting matters.Support on the Group corporate simplification project.Key Skills and qualifications:Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)Committed team player with a proven ability to hit deadlines, in a fast-paced environmentStrong focus on controls, processes, and continuous improvementAbility to build and maintain strong relationships and to use these relationships to get resultsAbility to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with impact and influenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience of using Oracle would be advantageous but not essential
