Job DescriptionProsecutions LawyerLondon Borough CouncilLocum ContractHybrid working£50-£55ph umbrellaSellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting for a locum Prosecutions Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in London.This is an excellent post for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister who is wanting to further their experience in public sector Prosecutions and Regulatory work. This is a hybrid working arrangement that requires ideally 1 day per week in the office.Responsibilities include:Prosecutions and advice for Health and Safety, Trading Standards, Planning, Licensing, Environment, Private Sector Housing, Food Safety and other areasEnforcement and recovery of expenses relating to statutory notices issued by Private Sector Housing and Trading Standards and other clientsAdvice to the Council in respect of proceedings before the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber/General Regulatory Chamber)Advice to the Council in respect of licensing (Licensing Act 2003, Gambling, Street Trading and other Licenses)Our client is seeking to fill this locum Prosecutions Lawyer vacancy as soon as possible, so applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or within a few weeks' notice.
