Job DescriptionCNC Turner – Skilled Machinist (Birmingham)Permanent Position – Immediate StartAn established manufacturing company based in Birmingham is looking for an experienced CNC Turner Skilled Machinist to join its precision engineering team.Key Responsibilities * Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-code control systems. * Work accurately from detailed engineering drawings. * Use a range of precision measuring equipment, including verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, and related instruments. * Ensure parts are machined to exact tolerances and quality standards.Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC programming. * Strong competence in all aspects of tooling setup, including cutting speeds/feeds, boring, drilling, and threading. * Ability to confidently interpret and work from engineering drawings. * Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems is highly desirable.Working Hours * Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm * Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm * Full-time, permanent role with an immediate start available
