Job DescriptionRole: HGV Class 1 Night DriverSalary: £19.05 per hour including holiday pay (£17.00 with accrued holiday pay)Location: South Manchester, Salford, Trafford Park, Urmston, Irlam and CarringtonWork Pattern: Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suitDriver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by several major European companies to fulfil their permanent and ad-hoc/driver cover requirements. We are therefore currently seeking several HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for various roles and contract terms (to suit you) in and around Trafford Park.As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver you will be required to carry out depot to depot deliveries and trailer swaps, taking and following instructions from the transport teams.HGV Class 1 Night Driver responsibilities: * Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress * Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits * Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws * Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance * Completing paperwork accurately as instructedHGV Class 1 Night Driver requirements: * No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's) * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year * Cat-C+E Licence (HGV Class 1)HGV Class 1 Driver Benefits: * Weekly pay paid PAYE by BACS Transfer * Full employee benefits entitlement * Company pension * BACS transferWe offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner. Plus, attractive rate of pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE.
