If so, wed love to hear from youWere looking for a Workshop Engineer/Technician to maintain, repair and prepare our hire fleet vehicles, including sweepers and specialist equipment. Youll be based at our Brighouse depot, playing a key part in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and ready to go.. Whether you're already in municipal engineering or have transferable skills from another sector, we want to hear from youDiagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles and equipmentConduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standardsWork on hydraulic and electrical systems (dont worry, well support your learning)Prepare and deliver vehicles for MOT testingHelp with stock checks and general fleet readinessKeep accurate service records and communicate effectively with customersAbout YouYoure a hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanical maintenance, keen to apply your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Experience in a mechanical or engineering roleLevel 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent)Full, valid UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and solve issues efficientlyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbout UsDawsongroup is one of Europes leading asset rental, leasing, and contract hire companies, with a fleet of over 32,000 vehicles and equipment across multiple industries.
