Are you ready to join us?This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access toproducts across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye careprofessionals to help people see brilliantly.The Manager, Vision Care Account Management (Professional Path) is primarily responsible formanaging key customers locally, fostering relationships, and achieving sales targets. You willbuild meaningful connections with key partners, understand customer challenges, and findsolutions to improve patient care. A typical day to day in this role will include:• Manage key accounts at a local level, usually overseeing a small team or specificaccount(s)/relationships. Build strong and enduring relationships with Alcon Independent Customers.• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, understandingcustomer challenges and identifying solutions to enhance patient care• Drive sales, promotion, and development in designated accounts to reach commercial goals• Establish and develop long-term relationships with key customers by acquiring a thoroughunderstanding of their needs and requirements• Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meettheir needs and objectives• Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans, providing strategic input onanalysis, future potential, and key programs required for the accounts• Prepare and negotiate contracts, guiding initiatives targeting specific accounts• Analyze the market situation, including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts andcompetitors• Organize customer events and other programs independently or with the marketing/medicaldepartment, in line with agreed business tactical plans• Contribute to stakeholder mapping, including segmentation and profiling, and provideaccurate and timely data for the Alcon Customer Relationship Management system• Drive the sales operations plan and achieve agreed sales and broader performance targetsWhat you'll bring to Alcon:Experience in commercial roles (key account management, sales, trade marketing)Understanding of the UK Optical market is a plusProven ability to deliver strong Joint Business Plans leading to sales and market share growthAbility to use of persuasion/influencing tactics to achieve business objectivesProven experience of delivering added value campaigns with demonstrable ROIExperience of cross-functional workingProven experience in developing and establishing successful key relationships and delivering excellent standards of customer serviceUniversity degree qualification or equivalent in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or a related field – desiredFluency in English (verbal and written)Any other European language would be an assetHow you can thrive at Alcon:We offer an attractive salary and the option for a company car or a car allowance.
