The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring accountant to join a dynamic outsourcing team. As an Outsourcing Associate, you'll be responsible for preparing management accounts and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies. You'll also review work from junior colleagues and assist in preparing draft invoices for senior approval.This role offers a blend of technical accounting work and client interaction, making it ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare management accounts and VAT returns for a portfolio of 20-30 clientsEnsure high-quality client service across all engagementsReview junior team members' work and raise draft invoices for approvalBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsManage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Qualifications & ExperienceLevel 4 AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACCA (part-qualified)Experience preparing VAT returns and management accounts in a practice settingProficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks) and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage client relationshipsEffective team player with strong organisational skills Career DevelopmentThe firm is committed to supporting your professional growth.
