It’s a career that you can take pride in and enjoy. It’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like.What you will be doingWith previous experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to people in a Neurological setting, while supporting your team and colleagues and promote good teamwork.As a Charge Nurse, you’ll lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivering of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit is performing well. You'll also;Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teamsMonitor service users’ conditions and respond to changesSupervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and supportMake critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaborationNo two days will be the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.Things that you will have:A relevant nursing qualification NMC registrationA positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionateA commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practiceRelevant experience in a similar environmentProven track record of leadership skillsWhere you will be workingLocation: Badby Road West, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 4NHYou will be working alongside the clinical teams at Badby Park to care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, where you will deliver person-centred care where each individual is at the heart of everything you do.This specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service which boasts extensive facilities that cater for specific needs of the residents that is set in acres of stunning countryside on the outskirts of Daventry.Badby Park is a grand manor house steeped in history with stunning views, excellent facilities and a tranquil setting.
