Together we are seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join their dynamic onsite team. Reporting directly to your Team Leader, as an Assembly Operative you will be a vital member of the team, based at Husqvarnas state of the art manufacturing facility in Newton Aycliffe.DutiesPerform a wide range of production related tasks, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency using state of the art semi-automated electronics within a demanding assembly line.Work across a range of production areas that include the assembly production line, build ahead and kits this will require great flexibility and provide a rounded skillset to move between various areas within the production process of different products.Follow standard operation procedures, learning and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, specifically around 5S.Work within a fast-paced, demanding, team-orientated environment, aiming to achieve and exceed targets.Required knowledge, skills or experienceFlexibleHave a positive attitudeHighly motivatedTeam playerGood timekeeperEnjoys a challengeAdditional InformationHours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 16:30 (off peak) 17:30 (peak).Hours can increase during peak times so flexibility to working extra hours is key.Rates of pay:£7.55 per hourThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Gem Partnership Ltd who are trading as a recruitment business.To stay safe in your job search we recommend that you visit JobsAware, a non-profit, joint industry and law enforcement organisation working to combat job scams.
