Our team of highly-skilled professionals is dedicated to delivering a wide range of projects, from initial design to installation and ongoing maintenance, across various industries.We are looking for a qualified and experienced Renewables Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the installation, testing, and commissioning of renewable energy systems, including solar PV systems , electric vehicle (EV) charging points , and associated electrical works across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.This is a key role within our renewables team and requires a high level of technical competence, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety.Key Responsibilities:Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, EV charging points, and associated electrical infrastructureCarry out electrical installations in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)Perform electrical testing and inspection of installed systems, producing all necessary certification and documentationFault-finding, diagnostics, and rectification of issues during and post-installationCollaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality installations on time and within budgetEnsure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures at all timesMaintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork for compliance and handover purposesEssential Requirements:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)AM2 or equivalent electrician assessmentExperience in installing, testing, and commissioning solar PV systems and/or EV charging infrastructureStrong understanding of electrical schematics and installation drawingsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceDesirable:City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualificationECS Gold CardExperience working in the renewables or energy efficiency sectorWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and overtime opportunitiesCompany vehicle, tools, and uniformOngoing training and development, including manufacturer trainingOpportunities to grow with a forward-thinking and expanding renewable energy businessA supportive and safety-conscious working environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: From £19.32 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEnhanced paternity leaveSick paySchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Exeter: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Electrical: 2 years (preferred)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Location:Exeter (preferred)Work Location: In person
