Job DescriptionJob Title-Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation- NewcastleSalary-£70,000Are you a senior quantity surveyor that has reached a ceiling with your current employer?Are you looking for a fresh new challenge?We are working with a national house builder who are looking for a senior quantity surveyor to join their North East team, with projects from Northallerton up to Northumberland.You will be joining an already established team with a strong client base and plentiful pipeline, with projects being supported by assistant and trainee QS'As senior quantity surveyor, you will;Manage and advise on the financial and contractual aspect of multiple, larg scale projectsProvide line management and support to assistant/trainee surveyorsManage CVRsBe a regular figure on site, growing client relationships with regular contract reviewsProvide regular cost reports and manage subcontractor costsAs senior quantity surveyor, it is required that you;Hold a HNC/HND in quantity surveying or equivalent Have a proven record as a senior quantity surveyor within residential house buildingHave a methodical approach when it comes to contract negotiation and pricingHave previously managed/led a small team of assistant surveyorsAs a senior quantity surveyor, you will receive;Up to £70,000 salary£5,500 car allowance or salary sacrifice schemeDiscretionary bonusPensionLife assurancePrivate medical plusIf this looks like the new challenge you have been looking for, then we'd love to hear from you
