Job DescriptionJob Overview:Our client, a successful injection moulding company, has retained our services to search for an Injection Mould Toolmaker to join their established team to support continued business growth.Benefits:Days role Mon-Fri Overtime availableFlexible working availableOn-site parking23 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension scheme Remit:As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the repair & service of injection moulding tools, responsible for the on-time delivery of tooling to the quality expected by the company.You will be involved in the manufacture and modification of injection mould tools in a modern and well equipped toolroom, with Hurco machining centres, Sodick Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, Jones & Shipman surface grinders, in house design using Pro Engineer and CAM programming using Powermill Role:Use of manual milling machines Use of lathes Use of surface and cylindrical grinders Use of manual and CNC spark eroders Use of CNC wire eroder Modification & repair of Injection Mould Tools Manufacture and fitting of new injection mould tools Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting Wiring of Hot runner systems and fault findingAssist the Production Team in trouble shooting tooling and moulding faults.Ensure that the Companys Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to throughoutRequirements:Experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machining Understand and have experience of fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including their repair Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety Experience of preparing new Mould Tools for Production Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting Experience in toolmaking, manual milling, turning, grinding, EDM Wire and spark erosion and fitting. CNC Machining experience an advantage.
