They have ambitious plans for the future, and we’re looking for exceptional individuals to join the fun. We’re seeking a commercially minded Pre-Sales Consultant with strong sales expertise, deep product knowledge, and advanced SQL skills to help shape the future of their solutions. You will partner closely with the New Business Team to uncover client pain points, shape opportunities, and demonstrate the real value of the business. What you’ll do:Engage consultatively with prospects, uncovering business challenges and creating a vision for change.Act as a technical authority during sales cycles, translating business requirements into solution designs.Build datasets, write advanced SQL queries, and validate data models for demonstrations and Proof of Concepts.Design and deliver tailored product demos that showcase measurable value.Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor.Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to provide market intelligence and customer feedback.Respond to RFI/RFP documents and ensure smooth handovers to Account Management.Support marketing events, webinars, and conferences. What we’re looking for:Proven experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering within a software environment.Strong commercial acumen with experience using SPIN and Challenger sales methodologies.Expert-level SQL skills across relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).In-depth experience with BI and analytics tools; ability to quickly become a business expert.Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong organisational skills to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.Degree-level education or a minimum of 5 years’ relevant software experience.Full driving licence and willingness to travel at short notice.Why them?
