The ONE Group are excited to be supporting a long-standing Huntingdon business as they look to welcome a Management Accountant into their team.This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers and someone who wants to understand what's really happening in the business and use that insight to influence decisions. From month-end reporting to guiding managers through budgets and forecasts, your work will help shape both day-to-day operations and longer-term plans. You'll have the space to bring ideas, challenge ways of working, and contribute to ongoing improvements across systems and processes.What You'll Be Involved InTaking ownership of the monthly management accounts and explaining the story behind the numbersLeading the budgeting and forecasting cycles with confidence and clarityDigging into costs and margins to support commercial decision-makingTracking performance through KPIs and sharing emerging trendsWorking closely with operational teams to help drive efficiency and improvementEnsuring strong financial controls, including Balance Sheet reconciliationsSupporting inventory valuation and playing a role in managing working capitalGetting involved in year-end activity and statutory reportingHelping refine processes and enhance reporting toolsStepping in with insightful ad hoc analysis whenever neededWhat You'll BringYou'll be a qualified or QBE accountant with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with and challenge both finance and non-finance teams when needed.The RoleThis is a full-time onsite position, 8am–5pm, based in modern offices within a business that continues to invest in its people and its growth.
