Join us in growing our expanding team as HSSEQ Co-ordinator based in our headquarters in Aberdeen.Role Description / Purpose of the role:The HSSEQ Co-ordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation maintains rigorous HSSEQ standards. The HSSEQ Co-ordinator will support the HSSEQ Manager in ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met in line with overall Venterra requirements. You will support the development of a positive health and safety culture where risks are managed sensibly to reduce accidents and ill health. The role will also focus on improvements in overall efficiency, quality and productivity as well as compliance with audit and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:The responsibilities of the postholder will include but not be limited to the following:Acting as first point of contact for queries into the department and ensure the company follows the Venterra Way for HSSEQCarrying out HSSEQ inductions for all new startersAssisting with the developing and presentation of training programs related to HSSEQReviewing and scheduling HSSEQ related training for all staff at all global sitesAssisting with the development, implementation and maintenance of HSSEQ culture with regular review of processes and proceduresSupport the development and improvement of the company's HSSEQ management systemsMaintaining and updating HSSEQ documentation, including, reports, checklist, recordsConducting risk assessments for internal processes and maintaining accurate recordsAssisting in accident/incident investigations and root cause analysis, identifying areas for improvementConducting regular HSSEQ audits and inspections, reporting findings and recommending corrective and preventative actions where appropriateAssisting in the planning, coordination and execution of external audits and certifying bodiesConducting supplier management reviews with relevant internal departmentsExperience and Qualifications:Desirable experience and qualifications are as follows:Experience in a similar HSSEQ role ideally with Oil, Gas and/or Renewables sectorCertification in HSSEQ related discipline or willingness to work towards (e.g., NEBOSH /IOSH) desirableInternal auditor trained is ideal or willingness to work towards thisKnowledge of HSSEQ regulations and standardsSkills and Knowledge:Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how operations contribute to theseExceptional attention to detail with good analytical skillsEffective communication skills, e.g. report writing, customer serviceKnowledge of safety systems, quality control and environmental healthWhat We Offer:We offer a competitive salary, a supportive and inclusive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.How to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your career, click apply.We look forward to welcoming the right candidate to our teamAbout Venterra:Venterra is a dedicated wind energy services group at the forefront of driving the clean energy transition.
