Job DescriptionEJ Connect are a specialist Recruitment Agency, providing Permanent and Temporary staffing solutions to GP Surgeries for all clerical positions.Our Mission is to connect great organisations with even greater people.Medical Receptionist19 hours per week\tAcocks Green\tEMIS\tImmediate start available\tPermanent\tFriday - 7:45am - 7:15pm\tFlexible on other dayThe role of the Medical Receptionist will be too:Greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner\tAnswer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers’ request appropriately\tRegister new patients in a timely manner, educating them on the practice booking options\tIdentify and understand patient needs and requirements, through appropriate questioning\tMaintain high standards of patient confidentiality.\tCarry out all necessary general office duties\tMaintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all timesThe suitable Medical Receptionist will:Have previous work history in a similar fast paced environment\tPossess knowledge and experience of EMIS\tDemonstrate an outgoing, friendly personality with a desire to meet new people\tHave the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively\tHave the ability to stay calm under pressure and to be able to multi-task in a similar environment\tDemonstrate a willingness to adapt to the changing working practices of a busy medical environment\tHave good administrative, IT and keyboard skillsThe successful Medical Receptionist will receive:£12.50ph\tSupport and guidance from a friendly and professional team\tFree Parking
