Sourcing Specialist – Medical ProcurementBirmingham (Hybrid) • £40k–£45k + Excellent PackageA leading procurement organisation in the healthcare sector is searching for a Sourcing Specialist to join its high-performing clinical procurement team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with public sector procurement experience who wants to deepen their expertise across medical, clinical and pharmacology categories while supporting critical national programmes.In this role, the Sourcing Specialist will take ownership of end-to-end procurement, running compliant and commercially strong sourcing events, developing market insight, supporting category strategies and engaging with clinical stakeholders to deliver meaningful impact. They will play a key role in shaping procurement solutions that improve outcomes across the wider healthcare ecosystem.The ideal candidate will bring:• Strong public sector procurement knowledge (PCR or Procurement Act)• Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes• Background in healthcare, medical, pharma or other clinically adjacent categories (desirable, not essential)• Confidence working with technical and clinical stakeholders• A proactive, inquisitive approach and the ability to thrive in a mission-driven environmentThis role offers excellent development, varied category exposure and a chance to influence some of the most important and sensitive spend areas in the UK.
