Job DescriptionLocation: SCG ConnectedSalary: £45,000Were looking for a Group Financial Accountant to come on board and join our team in Dummer, Basingstoke. The prime objective is to manage and consolidate the financial reporting of a group of companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards (e.g.,UK GAAP, IFRS). The role supports strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Responsibilities:Assist the Group Financial Controller in the consolidation of the annual statutory accounts, including consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, other year end adjustments and schedules to support. Ensure appropriate accounting policies are being applied and follow relevant UK GAAP standards.Monitor changes in accounting standards and implement necessary updates.Assist with the external audits and the team in answering audit queries.Produce the annual statutory accounts for all non-audit trading companies, and ensure dormant accounts are produced and filed in a timely manner.Assist in the calculations of business combinations, and goodwill on acquisitions. Produce the monthly management accounts for the holding companies and overview of monthly management accounts reporting on some trading entities.
