Job DescriptionQuantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a long established main contractor based in Reading. The business is privately owned and has been operating for over 50 years, delivering projects across the South of England. Project sectors include education, commercial, social housing, care and leisure valuing typically up to £30mil. As a result of a busy forward order book, they're looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join the team. About the role of Quantity Surveyor:As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing your own project through delivery to final accounts and completion. You will be reporting into the Commercial Director. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurementManage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variationsManage monthly valuations and liaise with the clientDeal with final accountsKey Requirements of this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degreeHave administered JCT forms of contractMust have the full right to work in the UKMust live within commutable distance to ReadingWhats on offer in return for this Quantity Surveyor position: Competitive Salary Generous benefits package Flexible working arrangements Real progression opportunities within the business This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable business in Reading with a strong pipeline of work and ample opportunity for progression within the role.
