However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doingThe IT Senior Engineer (Linux-DBA) plays a key role within the Hosting Services team, which is responsible for maintaining both Azure-based and on-premises infrastructure. This includes comprehensive support for Windows and Linux operating systems, along with SQL Server platforms. The engineer’s primary focus is on managing and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the Linux and SQL Server environments. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the minimum criteria below: Experience of 3rd Line support in an Infrastructure support teamExperience of working with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and AWSPractical experience of supporting Microsoft SQL Server with a variety of resilience configurationsProven ITIL backgroundExperience in a line management or mentor capacityAdditional criteria for all other applicants:Knowledge of Linux operating systemsExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.
