CAD Design Engineer - Contract - Dorset (Hybrid) - £competitive - Defence sectorSynergize Consulting are now hiring for a CAD Design Engineer to work at a leading defence client of ours on a contract basis.This role would be worked on a hybrid basis, and the successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team, with responsibility for taking product orders and transforming them into high-quality technical drawings.Responsibilities include:Producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using Siemens software.Interpreting engineering product orders and converting them into manufacturable technical documentation.Maintenance and management of technical data using Teamcenter.Ensuring all drawings meet internal standards, compliance requirements, and supplier capabilitiesCollaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure seamless productionExperience required:A strong background in engineering design, with core skills in producing technical drawings based on product orders.Demonstrable experience in using Siemens NX design software Experience working with Teamcenter for PLM functions.Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processesThe ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple requests simultaneously.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalDue to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).If you are looking to take the next exciting step in your IT career, please send in your CV for immediate consideration.
