Knowledge Development Lawyer Location: LondonType: Full-time, PermanentThe OpportunityAn international law firm is seeking an exceptional Knowledge Lawyer to join its expanding Knowledge Management function. This is a newly created position, offering a rare opportunity to shape the knowledge agenda from the ground up at a pivotal moment for the firm.The firm welcomes applications from experienced private practice lawyers as well as individuals who have previously worked as Knowledge Lawyers. What matters most is strong technical ability, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for developing high-quality legal know-how.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and analyse legal and regulatory developments, delivering timely and practical updates.Draft, refine, and maintain the firm's core library of knowledge resources, including precedents, templates, and guidance notes.Provide high-level technical support to fee-earners and assist with complex legal queries.Lead or contribute to internal training programmes, workshops, and legal education sessions.Partner with senior lawyers to design and implement knowledge initiatives aligned with practice goals.Produce or support client-facing training, insights, and thought-leadership materials.Identify opportunities for innovation, improved efficiency, and better knowledge processes.Collaborate with the Knowledge Management and Innovation teams to enhance systems and workflows.About YouQualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent).Strong post-qualification technical experience gained in a reputable private practice environment, or previous experience as a Knowledge Lawyer.Excellent drafting skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, accessible materials.Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in driving improvements.Strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.Enthusiastic about knowledge sharing, learning, and continuous development.Why This Role?A newly created position where you can make a meaningful, long-term impact.A supportive international environment with exposure to senior leadership.Opportunities for professional development and involvement in forward-thinking projects.Competitive salary and benefits package.For lawyers who enjoy thought leadership, collaboration, and shaping best practice, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact from day one.Harkaye Core Talent is acting as the exclusive recruitment partner for this appointment and invites discreet enquiries.
