Job DescriptionPPA Primary Teacher - Year 6 ClassesLocation: Bermondsey, South East LondonSalary: £150 - £170 per day - no planning required. Marking only. Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only Start: January 2026 - July 2026SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a welcoming, high-achieving Primary School in Bermondsey who are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who is eager to work as an Intervention Teacher working in small groups, as well as covering PPA for leadership in Year 6 after lunch time.About the School:This is a warm, community-driven, two-form-entry Primary known for its inclusive atmosphere and strong, consistent teaching standards. About the Role:The school is looking for an adaptable, friendly and professional PPA Primary Teacher to deliver Year 6 Interventions to small groups of Year 6 students and then deliver whole class teaching in the afternoon. The role is a full time position, term time only.Key responsibilities include:Delivering high-quality lessons in Year 6, as well as small group interventionsUsing clear routines and behaviour expectations already establishedMaintaining continuity of learning while class teachers planEnsuring work set by teachers is delivered effectivelyProviding brief, accurate handovers to class teachersBeing a positive presence across the phase and wider school The ideal candidate will be:A confident, adaptable teacher with strong KS2 experienceSkilled at quickly building rapport with pupils across different classesCalm, consistent and effective with behaviourAble to follow existing planning and routines with easeReliable, professional and committed to high standardsSomeone who enjoys varied teaching and contributing positively to school lifeExperienced teachers and ECTs with strong KS2 placements are welcome to apply.
