Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the production process. Overtime always available. Responsibilities* Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.* Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal materials.* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.* Overtime available. Qualifications* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.* Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.* Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.* A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
