Job DescriptionFinancial Reporting (Group) – 6-Month ContractLocation: London (Hybrid)Day Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)Start Date: ImmediateWe are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting professional to join our client’s Group Finance team on a 6-month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality financial reporting across the Group and supporting key finance projects. You will work closely with business units and Group functions, providing technical accounting expertise and driving improvements in reporting processes.Key Responsibilities:Preparation and review of Group financial statements, including note disclosures for the Annual Report and interim/year-end announcements.Ensure Group Financial Reporting processes operate effectively and meet defined timelines.Provide expert IFRS and HFM consolidation support for ad hoc queries throughout the year.Act as a key contact for Group Reporting, reviewing submissions from business units and advising on technical accounting matters.Review financial information submitted by business units for monthly actuals, budgets, and forecasts.Advise and support on drafting, testing, and implementing changes to the Group consolidation system (HFM).Prepare and deliver training on accounting developments for business units and Group functions.Support and advise on technical accounting issues Skills & Experience Required:Qualified Chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CAANZ, CA(SA) or similar)Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS essential).Proven experience in Group consolidation and financial reporting within a complex, multinational environment.Hands-on working experience with HFM.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.This is an urgent requirement, and we are seeking candidates who are immediately available or can start within the next two weeks.
