This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be the go-to expert for all things Employee Relations (ER), helping managers navigate complex cases and drive positive outcomes.This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00. We understand that flexibility is important, so for the right candidate, we're happy to consider a reduction in weekly hours.Pay, benefits and more:We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much moreWhat you'll do on a typical day:Lead and manager ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and flexible working requestsCoach and train line managers to build confidence and capability in ER case handlingCollaborate with the HR Operations Partner to identify trends and implement proactive solutionsSupport absence management through data analysis, Occupational Health liaison, and strategic initiativesAdminister recruitment processes, contract changes, and onboarding activitiesDrive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to improving survey scores and workplace cultureWhat you need to succeed at GXO:CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum)Strong experience in managing high-volume ER casesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with Trade UnionsIntermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNT)A flexible, organised, and customer-focused approachWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
