Job DescriptionMonday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15Friday: 07:30 – 12:30IntroductionAn established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support inspection and quality assurance activities across incoming and internally manufactured products. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong manufacturing quality background to join a quality-driven environment.Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the role plays a key part in ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements prior to release.Key Responsibilities * Carry out visual, functional, and dimensional inspections using basic inspection equipment * Inspect products received from suppliers and manufactured in-house * Complete and maintain inspection records, including non-conformance reports * Produce and support AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) * Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, inspection templates, and golden samples * Support non-conformance investigations and 8D corrective actions * Assist with in-process audits and quality checks * Communicate quality issues with suppliers and internal departments * Maintain accurate digital quality records and documentation * Adhere to company Health & Safety and quality procedures at all timesCandidate Requirements * Proven experience in a Quality Control / Inspection role within manufacturing * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment * Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach * Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications * Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Reporting * Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001 * Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Strong communication and organisational skills * Professional, reliable, and a strong team player * Aerospace experience desirable but not essential
