This is an exciting opportunity to join an interesting, arms-length, Re-Insurance organisation as a Procurement & Commercial Services Business Partner within the Legal Risk & Governance team. You will play a key role in delivering Procurement and Commercial Services, ensuring compliance and driving value across the business.Role & ResponsibilitiesBuild strong, trusted relationships across the organisation to deliver joined-up procurement and commercial solutionsEnsure adherence to procurement policy, legislation, and best practiceLead regulated, strategic, and high-value procurement activities, as well as support below-threshold procurementConduct supplier assurance, due diligence, and market analysis to optimise value and qualitySupport contract management activities, implementing best practice and maintaining consistencyAdminister eSourcing systems, contract registers, and provide management information to support decision-makingAct as a Control Owner within the Risk Management Framework, ensuring robust controls and complianceSkills & ExperienceAn excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levelsHighly organised and able to manage contract workloads independentlyInnovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvementProven track record of managing large tenders and procurement processes end-to-endStrong stakeholder engagement, including at senior leadership levelExperience with eSourcing and contract management platformsMCIPS qualified (or working towards) with relevant procurement experiencePublic Sector experience essential and Financial Services desirableFamiliarity with reporting tools such as Power BIAn excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levelsHighly organised and able to manage contract workloads independentlyInnovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvementBenefitsDiscretionary Bonus25 days holiday plus 5 days paid volunteer leave10% employer pension contributionLife assurance and income protectionSeason ticket loan and cycle-to-work schemeProfessional membership subscription
