Job DescriptionSite Supervisor – Residential Construction & RenovationsSouth Yorkshire (Sheffield, Barnsley & surrounding areas)Westwood Joinery and Construction are a trusted name in domestic construction and renovation across South Yorkshire, delivering high-quality workmanship on projects ranging from level-access showers and bathroom adaptations to full refurbishments, kitchen installations, joinery, and house extensions.They specialise in supporting disabled clients through grant-funded upgrades (assessed by Sheffield City Council) and hold the following accreditations: * Constructionline Gold * SSIP * FENSA * CHAS * Social Value * FMBThe RoleWe are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate multiple residential construction and renovation projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day operations across multiple domestic sites * Oversee site operations and coordinate the workforce * Accurately quote for works (scope, pricing, exclusions & variations) * Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget * Enforce strict compliance with health & safety regulations and site protocols * Manage tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers * Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve issues * Liaise with clients, surveyors, suppliers, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle * Monitor project progress, maintain quality benchmarks, and keep accurate site records * Report progress to senior managementCandidate Requirements * Proven experience in site management within residential construction or renovation * Strong leadership and team coordination skills * Ability to manage several projects and teams at the same time * Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance standards * Full clean UK driving licence * CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred) * Minimum 2 years’ construction management experience (preferred)Benefits: * Competitive salary: £40,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience) * Company van + fuel card * Company mobile phone * Pension scheme * 29 days annual leave (including bank holidays) * Supportive team environment with genuine career progression opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Sheffield, Barnsley, and surrounding areasEligibility: Right to work in the UK required (background checks may be carried out)If you’re a confident leader with a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects and outstanding client satisfaction, we want to hear from you
