Job DescriptionAWS EngineerSalary: £60k + ExpensesTech: AWS, Terraform, PythonAbout the role:We're currently recruiting an experienced AWS Engineer, working in the talented cloud services team for a leading MSP in York. You’ll be working alongside a team of experienced AWS Engineers to deliver, support, and evolve client platforms.All applicants must also be eligible for security clearance, having lived in the UK for at least 5 years.Key responsibilities:Collaborate with internal teams to deliver, operate, and secure AWS platforms with high reliability and efficiency.Engage directly with clients to understand, manage, migrate, and evolve their AWS environments.Own the delivery and support of production and non-production systems across the AWS ecosystem.Support or contribute to implementation teams on AWS migration projects and managed service onboarding.Provide technical guidance to clients during AWS migrations and Managed Service opportunities.Maintain service continuity by supporting customer infrastructure and resolving issues promptly.Key requirements:A strong background in cloud engineering within enterprise-scale environments (MSP experience is desirable).Hands-on experience with AWS landing zones and modern cloud architecture practices.High proficiency in scripting & IaC tooling, particularly with Python & Terraform (and CloudFormation where required).Direct client-facing experience, with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.The ability to translate complex technical topics into business-friendly language and present effectively in both technical and commercial contexts.Eligible for SC security clearance.Please apply for an initial chat, more information on the role and a full job description.
