What You'll Need:Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (or equivalent)Experience working in a franchised automotive dealershipFull UK Driver's Licence?? The Role:As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing customer vehicles to the highest standards. You'll work closely with the Service Team to diagnose faults, resolve mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out routine maintenance. Accuracy in record-keeping and a commitment to first-time fixes are essential to exceed customer expectations.??? Key Responsibilities:Diagnosing vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic toolsRepairing engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systemsPerforming routine maintenance (oil changes, tyre rotations, fluid checks)Conducting road tests to verify successful repairsDocumenting all work and parts usedCommunicating clearly with customers about repairs and costsStaying current with automotive technologies and repair techniquesAdhering to safety regulations and standards? Minimum Requirements:Full Category B driver's licence (ideally held for at least two years)Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence or equivalentExperience in a franchised dealership environmentStrong mechanical and technical diagnostic skillsAbility to work efficiently and with precision?? Desirable Qualifications:Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle MaintenanceLevel 3 Diploma in Auto-Electrical and Mobile Electrical OperationsLevel 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and ReplacementExperience in a prestige dealership setting??
