UK Contracts Manager – Regional InstallWe are recruiting a UK Contracts Manager to join our fast-growing Regional Installation team. This influential role will lead a team delivering large, multi-complex fire suppression projects, ensuring high-quality installations and a seamless customer experience.Position Overview:Work closely with key customers and manage major commercial projects in UK city centres. (Initial projects located - South England, Midlands, North West)Lead Project Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors on siteEnsure seamless installation, customer satisfaction, and project performanceJoin our Fire Suppression Senior Leadership panel to shape strategies and execution plans across the UKDrive growth and development opportunities for our employeesWhat We Can OfferCompetitive salary, company car and bonus25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and sick payHybrid workingPrivate medical coverComprehensive benefits package including 7% matched pension, life assurance, employee assistance program, employee referral scheme, employee discounts including high street brands, cycle to work scheme, and discount on Johnson Controls security productsExtensive product and on-the-job/cross-training opportunities with outstanding resources availableEncouraging and collaborative team environmentCareer development through various career ladders including Customer ServiceWhat You Will DoReporting to the Head of Regional Install, you will:Lead and drive initiatives within installation teamsTake responsibility for delivery, quality, health & safety, and financial performanceManage your own financial work bank, focusing on optimisation and cost managementBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsMaximise project margins with support from Quantity SurveyorsHow You Will Do ItMaintain close working relationships with Regional Install teamsMonitor and advise on defects or scope deviationsImplement procedures, brief staff, and ensure best practicePlan and schedule manpower and equipment to meet deadlines and budgetsEnsure documentation is accurate and completed on timeConduct safety and quality auditsIdentify training needs through performance assessments and appraisalsMonitor budgets, prepare reports, and manage debt disputes with Credit ControlKey ResponsibilitiesConduct installation pre-bid reviews and configure complex systemsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installationsProvide technical support and verify system functionalityTrain clients on system operation and maintenanceCollaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, design, and project managementContribute to continuous improvement and process efficiencySupport growth by identifying market trends and margin opportunitiesAssist with customised solution designSupport regional management in quality, health & safety, and financial deliveryRequirementsTechnical expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex systemsStrong background in Fire Suppression, BSEN12845 & NFPA/FM standardsExcellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skillsAttention to detail in installation and documentationWillingness to travel regularly across the UKFull UK driver's licencePreferred:Knowledge of fire legislation and standardsExperience in fire suppression industry regulations and fixed system planningBackground in leading and coaching teamsIf you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you.#LI-NT1#LI-Hybrid #RMDFL
