Job Title: BI Developer (SQL, Tableau, SSRS)Location: Milton Keynes (1 day per week)Contract Length: 6 monthsIR35: OutsideDay Rate: £450-£550Notice period - (2 weeks max)The RoleThis contract has been created to keep a high-volume reporting workstream moving while the wider team focuses on the Databricks migration. You'll own a mix of Tableau, SQL and SSRS development work, supporting business stakeholders and maintaining existing reporting across the estate.Day-to-day, you'll gather requirements directly from stakeholders, build and amend dashboards, develop SQL objects, and keep key reporting processes running smoothly. You'll also support documentation, participate in code reviews, and contribute to best practice across the BI function.Success in this project looks like:Stable delivery of BAU reportingSmooth migration of legacy reports into DatabricksHigh-quality SQL and Tableau deliverables that stakeholders can self-serve fromClear documentation of reporting and BI processesKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, amend and maintain Tableau dashboardsCreate, optimise and support SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions and ad hoc queriesMaintain and develop SSRS reportsSupport the migration of existing reporting into the Databricks environmentContribute to documentation, testing and code reviewsEngage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and support self-serviceEnsure consistency with internal processes, governance and data protection standardsTech Stack & Experience:Must-Have:TableauSQLSSRSNice-to-Have:Experience migrating reporting workloads (e.g., SQL → Databricks)Soft SkillsSelf-starter mindsetAble to work independentlyConfident engaging with stakeholders
