Job DescriptionLynx Recruitment are looking for an Automation Applications Engineer to help design, install, and support advanced automation systems with a strong focus on machine vision and machine learning technologies.In this hands-on role, you'll collaborate with clients and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and top performance across a range of automation projects.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and optimise automation and machine vision systems, including AWS ML or similar integrations.Develop and refine vision algorithms for inspection and process control.Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance testing of automated systems.Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver technical support.Maintain clear documentation on installations, configurations, and model performance.Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures.About YouBachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).1-3 years' experience in automation, machine vision, or machine learning.Proficient in Python (Linux environment).Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and Fieldbus networks (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, etc.).Familiar with machine learning frameworks and computer vision tools.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Interest in robotics and intelligent automation.
