Job DescriptionHGV Class 2 Driver – Wetherby, West YorkshirePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.Shifts• Monday to Friday• Start times: 6:00amRates of Pay• £15.90 per hour – BasicBenefits• Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Immediate starts• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties• Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues• Assisting with loading and unloading when requiredEssential Skills• Valid UK Category C licence• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)• Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card• Good spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping• Strong understanding of road transport regulations• Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experience• Previous multi-drop delivery experienceTraining Provided• Driver assessment required before starting• One-day paid induction following successful assessmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
