Job DescriptioniMultiply are supporting a well-established and values-led organisation based in Edinburgh, to recruit a part-time Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join a collaborative and purpose-driven business.The RoleThis role sits within a close-knit and supportive business and will play a pivotal role in producing accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with company directors, the successful candidate will be involved in day-to-day financial operations and help drive improvements in processes and reporting.As the P/T Finance Manager, you will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, with commentary and analysisReconciling key balance sheet accounts including cash, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assetsProviding expenditure analysis vs. budget/forecast, highlighting variances and contributing to cost controlHandling all day to day transactional finance dutiesWill support and oversee Credit Controller in the teamSupporting the annual budget and monthly forecasting processManaging credit card and expense processing in line with company policySupporting audit preparation and ensuring compliance with internal controlsContributing to cross-departmental collaboration including onboarding of new suppliers/customersDriving continuous improvement and sharing knowledge within the finance teamTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within an SME environmentStrong understanding of core finance processes and reporting requirementsPart-qualified, fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA), or qualified by experienceAdvanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, data analysis functions)Confident communicator – able to explain financial data clearly to non-finance colleaguesProactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong organisational skillsExperience with Xero would prove beneficialOn OfferThis is a part-time 4 day a week permanent role, based in Edinburgh, this will be an office based position.Competitive salary and benefits25 days holiday pro rata + 8 bank holidays, with additional service days after 5 yearsA values-driven workplaceFor further information please feel free to get in touch with Hamish Law at iMultiply.iMultiply is committed to diversity and will promote diversity for all employees, workers and applicants. iMultiply will treat everyone equally and will not discriminate on the grounds of an individual's 'protected characteristic’.
