Senior Project Manager – £450 to £650 – Outside IR 35 - Kent Overview:We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of high-impact technology and digital projects for a growing organisation in Maidstone, Kent. You will play a pivotal role in driving project delivery, coordinating multiple teams, and ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and successfully.This is an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend up to 18 months, providing exposure to software implementation, operational optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.Role & Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end delivery of technology and digital projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and objectives are achievedCoordinate cross-functional teams, software vendors, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless project executionDrive software and system implementation projects, including testing, user adoption, and go-liveIdentify and mitigate project risks, resolve blockers, and maintain governance including RAID logs, milestone tracking, and reporting to senior stakeholdersWork closely with operational and technical teams to optimise systems and processes using technologyTake ownership of ongoing and new digital initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scopeSkills & Experience:Proven experience managing complex technology or digital projects, including software implementations or IT-driven operational improvementsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence influencing senior leadersExperience coordinating multiple teams, IT vendors, and software delivery partnersStrong knowledge of IT systems, digital platforms, cloud-based tools, or enterprise softwareDesirable experience with COINS ERP / CRM, Weighsoft, or projects within construction/engineering environmentsProactive, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to drive stalled or complex digital projects forwardPRINCE2, APM PMQ, or equivalent project management qualification is desirablePackage:£400–£600 per day – Outside IR35Initial 3-month contract with potential extension up to 18 monthsOn-site in Maidstone, Kent (4–5 days per week)Opportunity to deliver high-value IT and digital transformation projectsExposure to software implementation, operational optimisation, and technology-driven change
