Job DescriptionResidential Conveyancer / Conveyancing SolicitorLocation: West MidlandsSalary: Up to £50,000 DOEHours: Full-time (Flexible & Hybrid Options Available)Start Date: January 2026 or soonerAbout the Role:A well-established firm in the West Midlands are are seeking a talented and driven Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join their friendly and supportive team.You will manage your own caseload of residential (and, where applicable, light commercial) property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring full compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations, SRA Accounts Rules, and internal firm procedures.You’ll have the support of two full-time assistants, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service to your clients.Hybrid working is available, and while full-time hours are preferred, flexibility will be considered.Key Responsibilities:• Advise clients on all aspects of residential and/or commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.• Manage your own caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion.• Draft, review, and negotiate contract documentation, reports to clients, and completion statements.• Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and third parties to ensure smooth progression of matters.• Supervise and mentor paralegals and conveyancing assistants, delegating tasks appropriately and reviewing their work.• Ensure strict compliance with CQS standards, SRA requirements, and firm policies.• Meet departmental targets for fee income, billing, and collections.• Contribute to the continued success and growth of the office.Person Specification:• Solicitor of England & Wales (with valid SRA practising certificate), or Licensed Conveyancer.• Minimum 2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing (3–5 years preferred).• Experience in light commercial property work advantageous.• Sound understanding of the conveyancing process and associated legal/regulatory requirements.• CQS accreditation (or eligibility) desirable.What's On Offer:• Competitive salary up to £50,000 DOE.• Hybrid working• Professional development opportunities, including CPD support and mentorship.• Supportive culture with approachable management, regular team events, and wellbeing initiatives.• Well-structured administrative support – two full-time assistants per fee earner.eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
