At Eurofit, your future starts today. Location: Coventry, UKYour MissionThe EHS Advisor is responsible for supporting, implementing, and monitoring the EHS policies & requirements within the company. The advisor works closely with various departments and ensures that the organisation complies with legal requirements on environment, safety and well-being. The EHS Advisor plays a crucial role in identifying risks, advising management, and fostering an EHS culture.Your ResponsibilitiesRisk analysis and prevention policyConducting risk analyses and drafting prevention plansDesigning and implementing measures to improve safetyAdvise management and employees on welfare, safety and healthAssist in drafting and implementing safety procedures and guidelinesEnvironmental focusDefining and implementing the waste managementFollowing the consumption and actionsComplying with the regulationsOperational presenceEnsuring the respect of the EHS rules in the shopfloorBeing in the shopfloor to prevent risks and detect improvementsImplementing the EHS tools and action planIncident management and preventionInvestigate and analyse incidents and accidentsFormulate concrete action plans to prevent recurrenceAct as point of contact for safety and welfare within the companyTraining and awarenessOrganising and providing training on EHS and preventionMaking employees and managers aware of safe working practices, risks and rulesMonitoring that the defined commitments are respectedManaging the EHS onboarding for newcomersLegal monitoringMonitoring compliance with occupational safety legislation and other relevant standards (including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ...).Supporting the purchase of prevention and protection equipmentStaying updated on new legislationFollowing and updating the fire strategy & fire assessment What you bring to the tableYou obtained a Bachelor's degree (NEBOSH qualification) or are equivalent through experience.A first relevant experience as an EHS advisor in a production environment is a strong advantage, the automotive sector is a plus.Passionate about EHS with the Safety priority mindsetOrganize and maintain open communicationMaintain constructive relationshipsLead by example & instil trustBeing bold to take courageous and decisive actionsGood knowledge of MS-OfficeWhat we offerWe are offering a challenging job in an industry driven by innovation and automation with a chance to prove yourself and build a career in an international and multicultural environment.You'll get a salary package in line with the market.Intensive, internal & external training opportunities are included on and off the job.
